Adarza BioSystems, a St. Peters-based life science startup, has raised $5 million from investors including Cultivation Capital, Lewis & Clark Ventures and the venture capital arm of Siemens.
The funding, which will be used expand Adarza’s production capacity and launch new products, follows a $6.8 million raise from Cultivation Capital and Siemens in 2014.
Adarza makes technology used for detecting proteins and other substances in blood. The technology is used for cancer diagnostics and allergy testing, among other purposes.
