New York firm buys 5 DST Systems buildings in KC’s Crossroads District

Time Equities Inc., a New York real estate firm that invested heavily in Kansas City property in 2003-04, has returned to the market with the purchase of five buildings and three parking lots in the city’s Crossroads Arts District.

The five buildings total 88,000 square feet in one of Kansas City’s hottest areas for real estate. A purchase price was not disclosed.

The previous owner of the properties was DST Systems Inc., the Kansas City-based data processing company that has been selling off noncore real estate assets for the last few years.

Evan Warwick and Pat Coppinger of Colliers International represented DST in the sale.
