Delta Air Lines officials said the outlook for Wednesday’s operation is “positive,” with about 90 cancellations expected at the beginning of the day leading to normal operations later.
The airline is working to reset its operations after a power outage in Atlanta early Monday affected its computer systems. Delta said Tuesday that a control module at its Technology Command Center in Atlanta malfunctioned, causing a surge to the transformer and a loss of power.
As of 6 a.m. Wednesday, the flight information site for Lambert-St. Louis International Airport listed only one inbound and one outbound cancellation for Delta, which operates from six gates here. Flight information for Kansas City International Airport also listed just one inbound and one outbound cancellation for Delta.
