St. Louis area startup OneSpace launches new platform following $9 million raise

OneSpace, the Swansea, Illinois-based company that has developed a platform that outsources corporate projects to freelancers, has launched a new Software as a Service (SaaS) model called OneSpace Project Center.

The new offering was one of several main initiatives the company, formerly known as Crowdsource, took on after it raised $9 million from Lewis & Clark Ventures, the Clayton-based venture capital firm founded by Tom Hillman.

The company said the new platform would help business streamline and optimize the management of its workforce by accessing pre-qualified talent, managing the communication and workflows between internal and external teams, providing performance and workforce analytics, and managing payments and compliance.

To date, OneSpace has raised more than $20 million.
