Aircraft parts manufacturer to move across the state line to Kansas

An aircraft parts manufacturer, Triumph Group Inc., has begun a move from Grandview to a new 156,000-square-foot building in Logistics Park KC in Edgerton, Kan.

The Berwyn, Pa.-based company has put on the market its current Grandview buildings. The Grandview site employs about 180 in a multi-building complex that was built in 1973 and bought by Triumph in 1998.

Michele Long, Triumph’s media contact, said 80 percent of the current workers are expected to make the move to the new plant.
