St. Louis agency approves issuing bonds for NGA project

The St. Louis Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority has authorized up to $120 million in bonds to finance site preparation for the new $1.75 billion headquarters of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

The LCRA’s commissioners approved the move at a special session on Tuesday.

The bonds will help the city pay back $33 million in loans used to purchase the land. They are expected to be issued in late November.
