Springfield-based O’Reilly Automotive is poised to expand its presence in New England through an acquisition.
The company has reached a deal to purchase Vermont-based Bond Auto Parts, a privately held company that operates 48 stores in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York.
The agreement, which was announced last week and is expected to close by the end of the year, will give O’Reilly its first presence in Vermont and New York — expanding the company’s footprint to 47 states.
Terms of the deal were not released.
