Sprint may sell parts of its headquarters campus

As part of Sprint Corp.’s multiyear turnaround, the company may consider selling some buildings on its Overland Park, Kan., campus, a spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.

Although Sprint will maintain its headquarters at the campus, corporate communications manager Lisa Belot said the company was exploring “hundreds of initiatives,” including the sale of buildings on the campus that Sprint isn’t using.

“We are leaving no stone unturned as we look for ways to simplify our business, operate and use our assets more efficiently,” she said in an email.

Sprint has about 6,000 employees at its 4 million-square-foot headquarters campus, after cutting more than 900 in layoffs earlier this year.
