Another Victim of Drought: Cracked Basement Walls

Drought-stricken corn is raising prices for feed and livestock. Farms throughout Missouri are getting out of livestock.
Severe drought is cracking basement walls throughout the St. Louis area, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The lack of rain has drained moisture from the soil causing the dirt to shrink and pull away from foundation, which causes basement walls to crack.

Basement repairs firms say repair waiting times are running two months or more.
