Clayton Venture Group, the venture capital arm of Clayton-based Enterprise Holdings, has invested in Coolfire Solutions, a St. Louis-based company that makes “situational awareness” software.
How much Clayton Venture Group invested is unknown, though officials said the investment is tied to the $5.4 million offering filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this month.
The money will be used accelerate hiring and product development efforts with its Ronin mobile software platform, which Enterprise Holdings currently licenses.
Coolfire’s Ronin platform helps with “situational awareness,” according to company materials, providing information to help with decision-making across a variety of industries and work environments.
