Spring Venture Group is experiencing triple-digit growth. In 2016, the company’s revenue growth neared 150 percent, and it hired 134 employees. This year, it plans to add about 225 employees, bringing the total head count to about 415 by year’s end.
The company, which sells dental, vision, critical illness and life insurance plans to seniors, is hiring for all its teams, but a majority of the positions will be in sales.
Several factors are driving the growth of the Kansas City-based independent insurance brokerage. The main one is its niche focus on the senior market.
More baby boomers also are using the internet to research and compare insurance plans. Spring Venture Group offers online comparison quotes and connects seniors to agents to assist them in choosing a plan. The company represents several carriers, and its licensed agents get paid the same no matter what plan or carrier they sell to a customer. It’s about helping seniors find the right product, the right plan and the right carrier, CEO Chris Giuliani said, and that mindset leads to consumer trust.
