Nationwide indoor cycling chain CycleBar is opening its first Missouri location next month in Chesterfield, with plans to add four more studios in the St. Louis area.
Founded in 2004, Cincinnati-based CycleBar began franchising two years ago and has since added dozens of studios around the country. CycleBar has grown a following of individuals looking for a change from a typical gym, said Jordin Cooper, CycleBar director of marketing.
St. Louisans David Busker and Dave Batschelett are franchise owners of the Chesterfield location and are also scouting a space for a CycleBar in the Central West End.
CycleBar offers amenities including free water bottles and a post-workout email with stats from the ride, Busker said.
Another location in Creve Coeur, owned by franchisee Paul Schnapp, also will open in the first half of 2017. Schnapp is opening three CycleBar studios locally.
