Chicago firm joins KC coworking fray with purchase of downtown building

Another provider of coworking space has staked a large claim in downtown Kansas City.

Chicago-based Level Office bought the seven-floor Kessler Building and plans to renovate it for use as private offices and coworking space.

Friday’s announcement of the new 44,860-square-foot Level Office facility follows New York-based WeWork’s announcement that it has leased 40,000 square feet at Corrigan Station, also in downtown Kansas City, where it plans to open coworking space for at least 750 members in the summer.
