Dollar Tree Inc. will build a $110 million, 1.2 million-square-foot distribution facility in Warrensburg that’s expected to create 375 jobs within three years, the Missouri Department of Economic Development announced Tuesday.
The company expects the distribution center to be operational in May 2018, though the project is contingent on the approval of local incentives.
The new Warrensburg facility is expected to generate 150 to 200 inbound/outbound truck trips a day, according to a press release from the Department of Economic Development.
Dollar Tree, which is based in Virginia, operates more than 14,300 stores in the U.S. and Canada, along with 22 distribution centers, according to the press release.
