Missourians may want to look east as they make 4th of July plans after seeing WalletHub’s latest ranking of the best cities to celebrate the holiday.
St. Louis placed near the top of the list, at No. 7. Kansas City lagged behind, occupying the 64th slot. The ranking included the 100 largest cities in the U.S.
Atlanta, San Francisco and Buffalo, New York occupied the top three spots on this year’s list.
According to WalletHub, a personal finance website, St. Louis ranks No. 4 in “attractions & activities” but scores dismally, at 99th in the “safety & accessibility” category.
Kansas City had mid-range to low scores in nearly every category.
