St. Louis among initial markets Sam’s Club-Instacart partnership
Wholesale retailer Sam’s Club is teaming up with delivery startup Instacart to offer same-day delivery, and St. Louis is one of three markets getting the service first.
The move comes as Sam’s Club, which is owned by Walmart, seeks to better cater to customers’ growing preference for online shopping.
The Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, markets are also getting the same-day service, which the partners plan to eventually offer elsewhere.
Instacart also works in the St. Louis area with retailers including CVS Pharmacy, Petco, Schnucks and Whole Foods.
