A developer is scheduled to showcase plans Monday for a $446 million water park and resort that would cover 302 acres in Branson. CP Branson LLC, the park’s developer, will also meet with the commission that will determine if the project receives tax-increment financing.
The park, Branson Adventures, would include a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park, a 55,000-square-foot outdoor water park, 30,000 square feet of meeting space and 640 guest units, including hotel rooms, cabins and RV sites.
Plans also call for restaurants, a spa, an alpine bike course and a whitewater rafting course that could host Olympic trials.
David Cushman, principal of CP Branson, estimates the park could attract 600,000 visitors per year.
Construction would start in 2019 and conclude in 2023.
