Perficient, an information technology and digital technology consulting company based in the St. Louis area, has acquired Southport Services Group, a Washington-based consulting group that specializes in data analytics and storage, according to a press release.
The acquisition adds about 100 new employees for Perficient, the company said. Southport generates $17 million in annual revenue, according to the release.
Financial terms of the deal were not announced.
Perficient touted the data expertise and client relationships it gains through the deal.
Southport’s founders, Jim Butz and Steve Thompson, and partner John Bavis are expected to join Perficient “in key leadership roles,” according to the release.
