Software company SafetyCulture raises $45.5 million funding round

SafetyCulture, an Australian software company that has its North American headquarters in Kansas City, announced Monday that it has raised a $45.5 million Series C funding round.

The startup, which makes software designed to help companies improve workplace safety through checks, communication and data collection, plans to use the funding to make new hires and raise awareness of the brand.

The funding brings SafetyCulture’s total capital raised to date to $74 million and boosts the company’s valuation to $330 million.

The round was led by Tiger Global Management, a New York-based investment firm, and featured investment from Blackbird Ventures, Index Ventures, Morpheus Ventures and Scott Farquhar.
