KC company opening youth sports complexes with amenities for parents

Elite Sports, a company based in Olathe, Kansas, wants to change the way parents think about dropping their kids off at sports practice.

The company is opening a series of facilities across the Kansas City area that feature playing surfaces for sports but also offer amenities like classrooms, business centers, lounges, full-service bars and nail salons.

Elite Sports has two complexes already open in the Kansas City area, and it’s planning to debut three more in the coming months.

Said Elite Sports CEO Jason Bryson: “Practice is no longer a drop-off, but a lifestyle that goes well beyond the sport, and a unique experience that parents can enjoy as well.”
