St. Louis-based Mid America Logistics opens Mexico hub

St. Louis-based Mid America Logistics is opening its first international office in Guadalajara, Mexico, along with a sixth U.S. office in Rogers, Arkansas, according to a press release.

To accommodate the international expansion, the company created a new Mexican subsidiary called Mid America Freight Logistics Mexico Inc.

Mid America is one of the largest private companies in the St. Louis region, and had a revenue of $53.3 million for 2017, up from $44.5 million in 2015, according to the St. Louis Business Journal. The company’s revenue is expected to exceed $140 million this year.

The office is scheduled to open the first week of September. The company’s current offices are in St. Louis; Charlotte, North Carolina; Cincinnati; Jacksonville, Florida and Phoenix.
