Pharmaceutical services company TrialCard plans to open KC call center, hire 225

TrialCard, a North Carolina-based company that provides a range of services on behalf of companies in the pharmaceutical industry, is opening a Kansas City contact center and plans to add 225 jobs.

Tim Cowden, president and CEO of the Kansas City Area Development Council, said Kansas City competed with a number of markets to land TrialCard, and that he wasn’t aware of any financial incentives used to attract the company.

TrialCard will handle incoming patient calls and outreach to outpatient care providers from a 23,000-square-foot space.

The company, founded in 2000, was acquired last November, the Triangle Business Journal reports. At the time, TrialCard reported a workforce of 500 and announced plans to expand by another 250 employees this year.
