Kansas City-Area Hospitals Pledge $2M More to Cancer Research Efforts

Four hospitals involved in Kansas City-area cancer research are increasing their commitments to the effort by $2 million.

The University of Kansas Hospital, Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics, Truman Medical Centers and Stormont-Vail HealthCare announced Wednesday that they will boost their annual contribution to the Midwest Cancer Alliance from $500,000 each to $1 million each.
