Gremlin Social, a St. Louis company that makes social media management and compliance software for the financial services industry, has announced two acquisitions aimed at expanding the functionality of its core product.
Gremlin is buying VidVerify, which makes a video-based communication tool for mortgage lenders, and Insight CRM, which makes social media management software, according to a press release.
Terms of the acquisitions were not announced.
Along with the acquisitions, Gremlin announced executive changes. Doug Wilber will be Gremlin’s new chief executive. VidVerify CEO Ben April will serve as Gremlin’s COO. Josh Dennis, founder and CEO of Insight CRM, will become Gremlin’s CTO.
Founded in St. Louis in 2011, Gremlin today has more than 260 clients in the financial services sector, according to the release.
