The parent company of two St. Louis-based communications firms is cutting about 7 percent of its global workforce.
New York-based Omnicom, which owns public relations firm FleishmanHillard and advertising agency Rogers Townsend, announced Tuesday that it’s shedding about 7,000 employees worldwide.
FleshmanHillard’s St. Louis office has not seen a reduction in headcount year over year, a firm spokeswoman said.
It was not immediately clear what impact, if any, the cuts had on Rogers Townsend.
