US Fidelis Fee Requests Total $5.6 Million

Going broke isn’t cheap. In the case of US Fidelis, the extended warranty company that collapsed in 2010, the total cost is more than $5.6 million.

US Fidelis’ bankruptcy is winding down, and lawyers and other advisers submitted their final fee applications last week, in advance of a hearing scheduled for Nov. 7. Ten firms are listed on the court’s hearing notice, with 90 percent of the money being requested by three firms. Read more on St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
