KC’s PIEA Transfers Abatements for $19.5 M Argyle Building Project

Kansas City’s Planned Industrial Expansion Authority approved the transfer of tax abatements to a development group looking to do a $19.5 million redevelopment of Downtown’s Argyle Building.

Property tax abatements were granted in 2006 to a previous owner but now pass to newly formed Hunt Argyle LLC to turn the aging and empty building into 102 apartment units.
