Bank of America Alerts Customers Of Potential Fraud

Bank of America is contacting its customers after being alerted that some of its cardholders’ account information may have been compromised at a merchant or service provider.

Bank of America told KMOV that it doesn’t know if the issue is tied to recent security card fraud that exposed the card numbers of 2.4 million Schnucks customers.  Bank of America also does not know the identity of the particular merchant.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America is one of the largest banks in St. Louis.
