BOK Financial To Hire Up To 125 For New Mortgage Operation

BOK Financial Corp. will establish a consumer-direct mortgage lending operation in Kansas City and hire between 100 and 125 people for the operation within the next two years. Todd Geiman, who ran a similar operation for the National Bank of Kansas City, has been hired to head up the project.

BOK, which is the parent company for Bank of Kansas City, has a major mortgage operation that originated about $4 billion in loans last year through its retail channel, mainly from referrals granted by realtors and builders. The new operation will directly solicit consumers nationwide through the Internet.
