OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Waddell and Reed declared a second-quarter dividend of $0.25 per common share payable on August 1. According to financial statements, the company paid $0.20 per common share in the year-ago quarter.
Waddell and Reed is based out of Overland Park, Kan. and is one of the oldest mutual fund companies in the U.S., formed in 1937.
The company will announce second quarter 2012 earnings before trading begins on the New York Stock Exchange, Thursday, July 26 followed by a conference call at 10 a.m. EST. Investors can listen live.
