AIG to add 300 jobs in metro Kansas City

American International Group, an insurance and financial services company that employs 600 workers in Olathe, Kan., said during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that it intends to add 300 new jobs at its new contact center. AIG received state and city incentives to locate in a 55-acre business park that is under development by Karbank Development Co.

The company is taking 60,000 square feet in the facility near Interstate 35. The expanded center has a research partnership with the KU School of Business to provide business and management training and career opportunities for students and alumni.
