Berkshire Hathaway drops stake in Express Scripts

The Warren Buffett-led investment company Berkshire Hathaway announced it liquidated its shares in Express Scripts Holding Co. Berkshire purchased 449,489 shares in the pharmacy benefits manager in the fourth quarter of last year and sold the shares at an average price of $78.34.

At that average sale price, Berkshire sold its shares at a value of $35.2 million, a small gain from the $35 million at which it initially purchased the shares.
