Kansas City Fed Reports Slight Manufacturing Increase In May

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City reported Thursday that regional manufacturing activity increased slightly in May, but warned that the outlook for future growth is still uncertain. The Fed drew its findings from an seven-state index of factory activity that includes data from Kansas and western Missouri. The index measures manufacturing production, new orders, employment, supplier delivery time and raw materials inventory.
