ST. LOUIS—Is your cat cranky in the morning? If coffee isn’t doing the trick, there may be help on the way.
Fancy Feast brand cat food, made by St. Louis-based Nestle Purina PetCare Company, will introduce a new line of breakfast-inspired morning meals for cats made with poultry or seafood, garden veggies and egg.
To introduce the product, Fancy Feast will unroll a social media and mobile campaign starting June 25. Consumers will find Morning Missions announcements on the Fancy Feast Facebook timeline. When the community completes the mission, free samples are unlocked at Fancy Feast’s Facebook page.
The Fancy Feast brand also created a free mobile alarm clock iPhone app called “MorningPurr,” which will be available beginning in July. The app enables cat owners to record their cats’ purrs as alarm wake-up sounds and personalize alarm screens with photos of their cats.
