Verizon Bringing 4G Network to Ozarks

LAKE OF THE OZARKS  — Verizon Wireless announced today it will bring its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to the Lake of the Ozarks in the coming weeks.

The network will allow 4G LTE customers to access wireless in an area including the Lake of the Ozarks, Camdenton, Linn Creek, Sunrise Beach, Village of Four Seasons, Osage Beach and Laurie.

“The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is bringing customers a blazingly fast wireless data service that covers more than two-thirds of the nation,” said Brendan Fallis, president – Kansas/Missouri Region, Verizon Wireless.

“With the 4G LTE network, customers can leverage the speed and connectivity through a variety of 4G LTE devices to connect with family, friends and colleagues, and push the boundaries of communication,” he said.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is available to more than two-thirds of the U.S. population in 258 markets across the country and offers more than six times the geographic coverage of its nearest competitor’s 4G LTE network.

Verizon Wireless customers can also access HomeFusion(SM) Broadband, which leverages the power and speed of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network to deliver high-speed, in-home Internet access for residential broadband, particularly where Internet options are limited or are not currently available.

I’m delighted to see Linn Creek, a town where I once lived, is getting 4G.
