AT&T’s Campaign For Push-To-Talk Clients Coming To Kansas City

KANSAS CITY—With a significant portion of its rival’s customers in transition, AT&T Inc. looks to lure Sprint customers to its Enhanced Push-To-Talk walkie talkie-esque system for cell phones this fall with a series of ambitious five-and-a-half-hour events for business and government clients nationwide.

Millions of Sprint push-to-talk users will lose the service on their current phones once the company shuts down its Nextel network next summer, according to the Kansas City Star. AT&T will try and scoop them up by wooing them with continental breakfasts, prizes  and a series of demonstrations in 27 cities, with an event in Kansas City on October 25.
