Total Quality Logistics is expanding to St. Louis, bringing a $1.2 million in capital investment and 95 jobs to the region in the next five years.
With the addition of the new office, the Cincinnati-based firm will employ more than 2,800 in fourteen states, according to a press release from Gov. Jay Nixon’s office.
Total Quality Logistics, which connects customers moving truckload freight with carriers who can haul it, generated $1.6 billion in sales in 2013 and is one of the largest logistics companies in the country. TQL ranked 42nd on a list of the top 50 logistics companies by Transport Topics.
To assist TQL with its expansion, the Department of Economic Development has offered an economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.
