New truck terminal to provide 63 jobs in Kansas City

CenterPoint Properties has broken ground on a truck terminal that will add 63 new jobs at CenterPoint-KCS Intermodal Center in south Kansas City, the former Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base. Neovia Logistics, based in Irving, Texas, will operate the 55,950-square-foot facility.

The Economic Development Corp. of Kansas City helped attract the company and jobs, which will pay wages averaging $40,777.

Late last year, CenterPoint Properties announced its first tenant at CenterPoint-KCS Intermodal Center, a U.S. Department of Agriculture operation being relocated from the Bannister Federal Complex
