Enterprise Rent-A-Car topped a J.D. Power study of rental car brands based on customer satisfaction, marking the ninth time in 11 years Enterprise has taken the top spot. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which is owned by Clayton-based Enterprise Holdings, excelled in all six factors that were evaluated: costs and fees, pick-up process, rental car, return process, reservation process, and shuttle bus or van service.
Enterprise Holdings’ other two rental car brands, National, and Alamo, ranked second and third in the study. Enterprise has differentiated itself through customer service and by engaging in customer conversation to a much greater extent than other companies, a J.D. Power representative said.
