Nearly 2.2 million guests visited Silver Dollar City in 2018, setting an all-time attendance record for the 59-year-old Branson theme park, according to a press release.
Silver Dollar City attributed the record attendance to its $26 million investment in the Time Traveler, a spinning coaster it claims to be the world’s fastest, and other factors.
The park’s “An Old Time Christmas” event also contributed to the high mark, according to the release, and the park received coverage from multiple news outlets last year, including The New York Times, The TODAY Show and Travel Channel.
