Just shy of 14,000 people reside in Moberly. It’s the largest city in Randolph County, which is home to has about 24,000 residents, and it serves as a regional hub for smaller surrounding communities, according to the Missouri Partnership.
The city’s estimated 2017 median household income of $37,023 lagged behind the state and national medians, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and about one in five individuals lived below the poverty level.
