Post Holdings, the Brentwood-based consumer packaged goods company, is pursuing an initial public offering of its Active Nutrition business, Post announced Thursday. Town and Country-based Energizer Holdings is acquiring Spectrum Brands’ auto care business for $1.25 billion, the company announced Thursday. Bardavon Health raises $15 million for nationwide rollout

Bardavon Health Innovations, a health data and analytics company based in Overland Park, Kansas, has secured $15 million in new funding from NewRoad Capital Partners, an investment firm based in Rogers, Arkansas. Bardavon, which was founded in 2014 and currently operates in 21 states, plans to use the new funding to expand into “every community in the country.” Read more

Missouri unemployment matches record low at 3.1 percent

Missouri’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate tied a record low in October, improving by a tenth of a point to 3.1 percent, the Missouri Department of Economic Development announced Thursday. That matches October 1999 and January 2000 for the lowest monthly unemployment rate since the figure has been tracked, dating back to 1976. Read more
