Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster has not said whether he will fight the Obama administration’s carbon limits, but the state’s utilities are encouraging him to mount a legal challenge.
Menard Inc., the Wisconsin-based hardware and home improvement retailer, announced it will spend $29.1 million on a new manufacturing and distribution center in Sullivan. The 185,000-square-foot facility, located about 65 miles southwest of St. Louis, is expected to create 129 new jobs.
Site work is expected to begin next month for a $35.8-million senior living complex planned for northwest St. Charles by Springfield, Mo.-based O’Reilly Development Co.
