Democratic Party officials of the Eighth Congressional District will choose a nominee Feb. 16 to run in June for the vacant congressional seat, a committee member said today.

Committee member Mike Masterson said the vote will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Poplar Bluff. Democrats previously had said the vote would be Feb. 9.
