State Revenue Director Resigns Amid License Controversy

Brian Long has resigned from his job as the state’s revenue director, effective immediately, Gov. Jay Nixon’s office announced.

Long’s resignation apparently stems from a controversial new driver’s license process that led to concerns about the state collecting personal data.

Long, who held the position since last December, is being replaced by John Mollenkamp, the former deputy director of the revenue department.
