Right To Work Bill Fails In Missouri House

Legislation restricting the power of unions, which supporters call the “right to work” bill, fell four votes short of the minimum required to advance from the Missouri House to the Senate. The measure would mandate that a worker cannot be forced to join a labor organization, or be forbidden from joining, as a condition of employment, and would have been placed on the ballot in August.
