Kansas City Mayor Sly James said he will run for a second term in 2015.

James was elected in 2011 after defeating attorney Mike Burke with 54 percent of the vote. If re-elected James said he will focus on his same four-‘E’ agenda: education, employment, efficiency and enforcement.

No challengers have emerged yet, but filing for the race doesn’t open until Dec. 9. The general election will take place June 23, 2015.
