Sinquefield donates $2.5 million for Grow Missouri’s fall campaign efforts

Rex Sinquefield, Missouri’s top political donor, will give $2.5 million to a prominent conservative political action committee to help fund its campaign efforts this fall. Grow Missouri Treasurer Aaron Willard said the money from its primary benefactor will be spent on ballot initiatives and individual candidates, as well as causes.

Willard said Grow Missouri will help the next speaker of the Missouri House, Republican John Diehl of Town and Country, with his fall initiative called “100 Great Ideas for Missouri.” Grow Missouri plans to cover some of the costs of the events, help organize roundtable discussions, and pay for advertising to encourage the public to get involved, Willard said.
