They represented a small splash of blue in a sea of orange over the weekend at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

A group of about 185 people, consisting of Kansas City Royals employees and their guests, filled section 334 at AT&T Park for Games 3-5 of the World Series between the Royals and the San Francisco Giants. Royals owner and president David and Dan Glass treated employees to the trip in recognition of their hard work as the Royals advanced to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1985.

Employees received a ticket, a chartered flight and hotel stay for themselves and one guest, courtesy of the club.
