Cell Phone No-Call Bill Becomes Law

JEFFERSON CITY- Gov.Jay Nixon signed a bill today that will allow Missourians to add their cell phone numbers to the state’s “No-Call list.” The bill, passed unanimously by the state senate, will go into effect on Aug. 28. A Missouri Senate press release described the bill as an “effort to eliminate unwanted cell phone calls, texts and other solicited electronic messages.
